Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

4 cloves garlic, finely minced

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped

1 tablespoon fresh oregano, finely chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried oregano)

1 large lemon, zested and juiced

Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C), ensuring it's ready for the salmon to cook evenly.

Prepare the Marinade: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the extra-virgin olive oil, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dill, oregano, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Season with salt and pepper to your taste. Whisk the mixture thoroughly until all the ingredients are incorporated, creating a fragrant marinade.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in a large baking dish. Generously pour the garlic and herb marinade over the fillets, making sure each piece is well-coated. For the best flavor, let the salmon marinate for 15-20 minutes at room temperature.

Bake the Salmon: Once marinated, carefully place the baking dish in the preheated oven. Bake the salmon for approximately 12-15 minutes, cooking until the fish flakes easily with a fork and achieves an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

Serve: After baking, remove the dish from the oven and allow the salmon to rest for a couple of minutes. Serve the baked salmon while hot, accompanied by lemon wedges. For an added touch, sprinkle extra fresh herbs on top before serving.

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 4 servings

              - Presentation Tips: Plate the salmon on a bed of sautéed greens or couscous for a vibrant color contrast and garnish with additional lemon wedges and fresh herb sprigs for an eye-catching finish.
